Q Are the effects and benefits the same as those of a natural carbonated spring?

A This is the same as a carbonated spring, but there is a difference in that a natural carbonated spring contains hot spring water.

Q Isn't carbon dioxide (CO2) dangerous?

A Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a non-flammable substance found in the air. It is safe to use as long as you follow the instruction manual and the instructions of the gas supplier. (Reference) Although the organic nature of the gas is not a problem, concentrations exceeding 3-4% can cause deep breathing, headaches, dizziness, and nausea. (Note that the carbon dioxide gas produced by carbon dioxide spring generators does not exceed 1% in the air in the bathroom.)

Q What is the difference between a carbonated spring made with bath salts and a carbonated spring made with a carbonated spring generator?

A The concentration of carbonic acid in the water used in commercial carbonated bath salts is about 50 to 100 ppm when used in a bathtub. ReVIERA³ produces a highly concentrated 1000ppm carbon dioxide spring in 40℃ water. Generally speaking, a minimum of 400ppm is required to effectively obtain the effects of a carbonated spring.

Q What is a carbonated spring?

A Carbon dioxide (carbon dioxide gas) is dissolved in hot water. In Japan, hot water with a concentration of 1,000 ppm or more is defined as a "highly concentrated carbon dioxide spring. In Europe, carbonated water has been used as a therapeutic spring to treat heart problems and hypertension for centuries.

Q Are there any negative effects on the body?

A Carbonic acid (carbon dioxide) is found in the air and in our bodies, and is essential for our health. There is no need to worry about side effects or allergic reactions. After being absorbed into the body, carbon dioxide is safely released from the lungs and kidneys. The carbon dioxide gas used in artificial carbon dioxide springs is safe and not flammable or explosive, so you can use it with peace of mind.

Installation

Q Can I lay the carbonated bottle (carbon dioxide cylinder) on its side?

A Carbonated bottles (carbon dioxide cylinders) are filled with liquid carbon dioxide gas under pressure. To avoid the risk of gas leaks, always hold the bottle upright. For more information on handling carbon dioxide bottles, please contact your carbon dioxide bottle dealer.

Q Is it safe to leave carbonated bottles (carbon dioxide cylinders) in the bathroom?

A Please leave it in the changing room. As a precaution, please do not place the CO2 cylinder on its side, and do not use it in an environment where the temperature is above 40℃. Do not place carbon dioxide cylinders near high-temperature equipment such as bathroom dryers. As a general rule, please check with your carbon dioxide cylinder dealer regarding the handling of carbon dioxide cylinders.

Q Is there a problem if the connecting tube between the ReVIERA³ main unit and the carbonated bottle (carbon dioxide cylinder) is pinched by the bathroom door?

A It is possible to close the bathroom door with a light pressure. Please do not pinch or crush the door with sharp corners.

Q Is there anything else I need to use with ReVIERA³?

A Please make your own arrangements for carbon dioxide gas cylinders and pressure regulators. Please ask your dealer about the handling of carbon dioxide cylinders and pressure regulators.

Q What precautions should I take when handling carbonated bottles (carbon dioxide cylinders)?

A Be sure to check with the dealer from whom you purchased the carbon dioxide gas cylinder regarding the handling of the cylinder. For reference, please note the following points as general examples. 1.Secure the carbonated bottle (carbon dioxide cylinder) so that it does not fall over. 2.Do not tip over. 3.Do not place in a place where the temperature rises above 40 degrees Celsius. 4.Keep infants and pets away from the product. 5.Do not allow children to touch it. 6.Ventilate the room. 7.Do not install the product in a bathroom or outdoors. 8.Be careful of the gas tube so that it does not get caught on your foot and fall down.

Q Are there any installation requirements for ReVIERA³?

A Yes, ReVIERA³ can be connected to your shower at home without the need for power supply or installation work. There are two points 1) You need a shower facility. Remove the shower head and connect it to ReVIERA³. Please make sure you can remove the shower head. 2) If the water pressure is low, you may not be able to use the shower. We use water pressure to dissolve carbon dioxide. If the water pressure is too low, we may not be able to produce enough carbon dioxide. Balanced kettles, electric water heaters, water storage tanks on the top floor of condominiums, and pressure-reducing water heaters may not have sufficient water pressure (around 0.15MPa) to produce carbon dioxide. Please check the specifications of your water heater. If you are unable to confirm the specifications of your water heater, you can check the water discharge volume for convenience. Recommended water volume (main water volume): 11L/min. It takes just over 16 seconds to fill a basin (3L) with hot water.

Q Please tell me about the installation of carbon dioxide cylinders.

A Place the carbonated bottle (carbon dioxide cylinder) in the changing room and install the product in the bathroom. The product is connected with a thin, special gas tube that can be used to close most bathroom doors. You can also pass it through a louver on the door.

Q Why is the lid of the carbonated bottle (carbon dioxide cylinder) too hard to open?

A Please check with your carbon dioxide cylinder dealer.

Q I don't know how to install the device, what should I do?

A Please see the YouTube video for guidance.

Q I don't know how to install the mist.

A Please watch the YouTube video for more information. https://youtu.be/8ioTIr82PVI

Q I can't understand some parts of the installation video.

A Please let us know the details of the part you do not know how to install from "Member Inquiry Form.

How to use

Q Isn't it difficult to operate?

A Just twist the shower handle to use it as if you were taking a shower. When you turn off the hot water, the gas also stops.

Q What should I do if I want to increase the water pressure?

A ReVIERA³ is a water-saving model, so the water flow rate will be slightly lower. This is because the flow rate is adjusted and controlled to efficiently dissolve the carbonic acid into the hot water to produce a highly concentrated carbonated spring. How to increase the water pressure 1. remove the pressure regulating valve 2. adjust the water stop valve.

Q Can I use a shower head with a hand stopper?

A Please use the supplied shower head. If you stop the shower with the stopper at hand, water pressure will be applied to the shower hose and the entire unit. Repeated use of the stopper may cause damage to the shower hose or malfunction, so please do not use it.

Q How much should I set the temperature of the bath?

A Carbonated warm water feels about 2°C warmer than plain water, so we recommend 38°C to 40°C.

Q Is there a carbonated spring effect even when using water?

A Water has the same carbonation effect as hot water. If the temperature of the water is high compared to your body temperature, it will raise your body temperature more, and if it is low, it will lower the temperature of your blood.

Q Is there any water that I should avoid using?

A If you use well water or hot spring water, the minerals and other components may cause the shower head to clog. In this case, please note that this product is not covered by the warranty.

Q How can I increase the concentration of the carbonated water in my bathtub?

A You can use the hot water from the bathtub as a splash bath, and then add carbonated water again with ReVIERA³.

Q The concentration is saturated at 1000ppm at 40°C. Should I use the shower at 40°C or lower?

A The ReVIERA³ has been optimally set to dissolve 1000ppm at 40 degrees Celsius. We recommend using it at 40 degrees Celsius, but we believe that around 40 degrees Celsius will produce a sufficiently high concentration of carbonated water, so please enjoy it at your preferred temperature setting, such as a slightly higher setting in winter.

Q Can I cook afterwards?

A Carbon dioxide gas in a carbonated spring loses about 10% of its volume per hour, but it loses more easily if the water is boiled or mixed too strongly. The saturated concentration of carbon dioxide is 1000ppm at 40℃. Boiling the water afterwards heats it to a higher temperature, which makes it easier to remove. It is recommended that you do not leave the water in the bath for a long time.

Q Can I use it with a jet bath?

A The use of a jet bath will cause carbonation to be lost and affect the concentration. You will not be able to enjoy a highly concentrated carbonated bath.

Q Can I use the shower anywhere I can find it?

A Even if shower facilities are available, some may not be used. (Examples of unavailable facilities) Built-in type (shower head and shower hose cannot be removed) The distance between the place where the equipment is placed and the place where the gas cylinder is placed is more than 5 meters (because the attached gas tube is 5 meters long). The top floor of a balanced kettle, pressure-reducing electric water heater, or water storage tank type apartment. The top floor of a balanced kettle, depressurized electric water heater, or storage tank type apartment. The wall of the bathroom is uneven or rough (wall fixing parts cannot be installed). Non-acid resistant metal drainage or marble bathtub (carbonated water is weakly acidic) Please note that there may be cases other than those listed above where the product cannot be used.

Q Can I use well water?

A ReVIERA³ is designed to be used with tap water. Well water may contain various ingredients such as minerals, which may cause clogging of the shower head. Also, if the PH value (acidic or alkaline) is significantly skewed, the acidity of the carbonated spring may change. When using well water, periodic cleaning and replacement of parts such as the shower head may be necessary, and parts will need to be purchased each time. If you use well water, you may need to clean the unit regularly and replace parts such as the shower head.

Q There is a switching knob, how do I use it?

A By turning the switching knob on the main unit, you can switch between "carbonated spring" and "plain hot water".

Q The connection tube of the carbonated bottle (carbon dioxide cylinder) often froze near the carbon dioxide cylinder, is this okay?

A In a humid place, frosting will start from the pressure regulator (regulator) part after a few minutes of CO2 release. This is due to condensation on the surface of the tube caused by the temperature difference from room temperature, and there is no problem in use.

Q Can I use a solar water heater?

A If shower facilities and the necessary water pressure can be secured, it can be used. In some cases, water pressure (around 0.15MPa) may not be sufficient to produce carbonated water. Please check the specifications of your water heater. If you are unable to confirm the specifications of your water heater, you can check the water discharge volume for convenience. Recommended water volume (main water volume): 11L/min. It takes just over 16 seconds to fill a basin (3L) with hot water. However, the carbonic acid concentration is more likely to fluctuate.

Q The valve on the cylinder is stuck and won't open, what should I do?

A Please check with your carbon dioxide cylinder dealer.
